The classic drumcomputers from Roland like the TR-909 and TR-808 are unparalleled and are very organic and groovy on there own sequencer.
The Linndrum is also a classic with Eeproms and the samples on them and have a very distinctive sound. The Sequential Circuits drumtraks and the drumulator from Emu are in the same category !
These days they are very expensive and even more then the prices they are sold new in those days !
There are a lot of new analog and digital drumcomputers released today and also more afforfable.
The Electron Machinedrum is still expensive but has still it's own distinctive sound and can be heard on lots of EDM today.
Ofcourse there are a lot of rare and obscure collection drumcomputers that has passed the horizon !
