For sale is a completely restored Dynacord KV10 tube combo from around 1958. The tolex and grill cloth were in bad shape so
I decided to replace it. The handdle to carry the amp was missing and a similar vintage type was installed..
The KV10 is a very light and easy to carry/transport amp, ideal for blues harmonica, or electric and accoustic guitar.
Specs:
- 10 Watt
- EZ81, ECC83, 2 x ECL82
- 8 inch Isophon speaker.
- Inputs: Mic1, To (Tohnband, tape player), To (Tohnabnehmer, pickup).
- Tone (high pass filter).
- Speaker out.
Service:
- The circuit was almost completely rebuild with new electronic parts (see photo).
- The two high Voltage (cup) elco’s were replaced by high quality ones from FJZ.
- NOS tubes from Valvo and Pope were installed (ECC83, ECL82).
- A new tube socket was installed.
- New fuse.
- A vintage but excellent 8 inch Isophon speaker from the Dynacord Orchester series was installed. New wires for speaker connection.
- The DIN sockets of the MIC and TO1 inputs were replaced by 6.3 mm jacks. Both inputs are high impedance.
